Northeast Wyoming Furniture Restorers Rehab Workshop

Enjoy a new winter pastime and participate in the Annual Furniture Rehab Workshop, January 20th - 29th, 2023! This event allows participants to bring their projects, tools and refinishing supplies to work at their own hours in a warm, indoor winter environment. This is a great time to refinish antiques and furniture, to re-purpose furniture and other pieces into some other usefulness, or to restore artifacts and other objects of various materials to their original beauty. Guest presenters on chalk paint systems and instruction on stripping, sanding, repairing, staining, and finishes will be given to newcomers. Experienced participants mentor people with questions.

Talks and handouts on supplies and instructions for various techniques will be given. Techniques are shared in this congenial environment developing a great sense of community. If you work and want to come out after work each day and on the weekends, you can set up when you arrive. All children must be supervised. This is a one-of-a kind, unique recreational opportunity for Gillette and the surrounding northeast Wyoming.

Hours: Open from 8:00 am-9:00 pm each day. Doors will be locked at night securing the building.
