This banquet is held to fundraise for the Gillette College Rodeo Team. Gillette College Rodeo began its legacy in 2007 with Coach Will Laduke leading the way. Since then, the most talented recruits from South Dakota, Montana, Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah and farther have adorned the grey vest representing Gillette College. In fifteen short years, success has been the standard of this program and winning continues to be a tradition of the Pronghorns. Men and Women representing Gillette College have won team and individual college national titles. They have won world renowned rodeos, such as the Pendleton Roundup. They have competed with the top 15 in the world at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV. This program, based in Gillette, Wyoming has turned out some of the best men and women in the business and continues to leave a legacy in the rodeo world. Champions are made here in grey vests and the support from the community is what makes it all possible.
